NACSETAC is a regional chapter of SETAC (Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry), encompassing the North Atlantic region from New England (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, & Rhode Island) into the Canadian Provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador.
Our membership is diverse, comprising people from industry, academia and government. NACSETAC is a very active chapter, supporting students, sponsoring short courses, hosting networking events, and organizing webinars.
Our Board meets monthly to discuss academic outreach and event planning. If you are interested in contributing to these efforts, please contact us expressing your interest in joining the Board.
Each spring, we hold our annual meeting in various locations to reflect the Chapter’s geographic and interest diversity, addressing issues pertinent to the locale. Annual meeting locations are scheduled in both centralized and less centralized locations in order to best service and expand Chapter membership.
